This is going to be an awesome week for the arts!
- First, our big critique! It's this Tuesday!!! The Art 3 kids are looking at your blog spots this weekend. Don't forget to put your new work up. Perhaps a little commentary, what's working for you, suggestions you would like. Maybe give a brief overview of what your concentration is.
- Wednesday, December 5th is the National Art Honor Society meeting, 2:50 - 3:50 or later. We are going to stuff the card packets and make 'artsy' ornaments for the Retirement Center. They are very excited to receive a Holiday tree from us.
- The Art of the Dairy deadline is Monday. I have to have the envelope postmarked on Monday in order for our images to be considered. If your working on a cow make sure you get it to me Monday morning.
- Finally, it would be great if we could all support the Empty Bowls service project. For $10.00 you receive a hand thrown bowl from a Lakeridge student, a bowl of soup, some bread, entertainment from Company. Friday, December 7th 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm in the LHS cafeteria!
