Your Artwork in the Oregonian

This is an email I received from a reporter at the Oregonian. If you want to take the time to get your work publish this would be a great opportunity!

I am planning a spring art issue of the Southwest Weekly, which appears Thursdays in The Oregonian. Would you be interested in submitting any artworks by your students?
If so, here are the guidelines:
Format: E-mail as .jpg files to amywang@news.oregonian.com with the subject line "Spring art issue."

Files should be at least 300 dpi and 3 inches on each side. Art in any medium is acceptable. Each submission should include the student's full name, age, class year and school, along with the title of the artwork, a description of the artwork and an explanation of what inspired it.

Theme: All artwork submissions should be related to the theme of spring.

Deadline: 5 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2008.
Please note that we will be very limited in how many artworks we can publish.
